Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 May 2026 · v1.0

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between Furry Adventures Brighton Ltd (company number 17194944, registered in England and Wales) and you, the customer. By creating an account, ticking the agreement checkbox at signup, or booking a service, you accept these terms.

2. The services we provide

We offer four services:

  • Solo Stroll — one dog, 45 minutes, £25.
  • Pack Adventure — group walk for sociable dogs, 60 minutes, £16 per dog.
  • Home Visit — short drop-in visit, 30 minutes, £15. For puppies, seniors, post-op recovery, or any dog or cat who'd benefit from a midday wee, feed, and cuddle.
  • Overnight Pet Sitting — sitter stays at your home overnight, £50 per night, +£10 per additional dog.

Prices are in GBP, inclusive of all applicable taxes. We are not currently VAT registered.

3. Pricing

  • Weekday rates as listed.
  • Saturdays — 1.5× the weekday rate (walks only; pet sitting is flat-rate).
  • Sundays and English bank holidays — 2× the weekday rate (walks only).
  • Multi-dog discount — 25% off every additional dog from the same household on walks.
  • Pet sitting — +£10 per night for each additional dog.

4. Payment

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking via our online checkout (Stripe). We accept all major debit and credit cards. Payment information is processed by Stripe; we never see or store card details.

For overnight pet sitting, payment is taken after we agree dates and you've signed the consent form (see section 7).

5. Cancellations and refunds

The following cancellation rules apply to all walks:

  • 48+ hours before the walk: 100% refund.
  • 24–48 hours before: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before: non-refundable.
  • No-show / no access on the day: non-refundable plus a £10 admin fee.

Pet-sitting cancellations: 7+ days before check-in = full refund · 3–7 days = 50% refund · under 3 days = non-refundable. Overnight slots are difficult to re-book at short notice, hence the tighter window.

We will pro-rata refund a multi-night sit if you cut a trip short partway through, but only at our discretion based on whether we can re-fill the remaining nights.

Refunds are processed to the original card via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 working days.

6. Your obligations

To book and use our services, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 or over and the dog's owner (or have authority to book on their behalf).
  • Your dog's vaccinations (DHPP, leptospirosis, kennel cough) are up to date and you'll keep them so.
  • You'll tell us about any condition, allergy, medication, or behavioural trait that affects your dog's safety or ours — including a history of biting, fear-aggression, or recall difficulties.
  • You'll provide reliable access (key, lockbox code, doorman) on the day of the walk.
  • You'll provide accurate vet contact details and an emergency contact who is reachable while you're away.

Knowingly withholding information about your dog's behaviour that materially affects safety is grounds for us to terminate the booking without refund.

7. Pet-sitting consent

Overnight pet sitting requires you to complete a consent form before your stay begins. The consent form covers: vet authority cap (the £ amount you authorise us to spend on emergency vet care without further approval), key handover method, photo permission, and your acknowledgement of these terms. The consent form is your e-signature for the stay.

8. Walks and walker discretion

Our walkers will decide on the day whether your dog can be off-lead, based on recall, local conditions, and the rest of the pack. We never let a dog off-lead near roads or where local rules forbid it (e.g. parts of the seafront in summer).

We reserve the right to cut a walk short or not start it at all if your dog is unwell, unusually distressed, or behaving in a way that endangers themselves, the pack, or third parties. We'll always contact you and refund pro-rata where appropriate.

9. Photos

We send you private photos of your dog through every walk — that's part of the service. We will only use a photo on our public marketing channels (Instagram, website) if you have explicitly opted in via your consent form. You can withdraw that consent at any time and we'll remove the photos within 30 days.

10. Our liability

We hold public liability and care-custody-and-control insurance with a reputable UK-licensed insurer. Insurance certificate available on request.

Our total liability for any one claim, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, is limited to the price of the service that the claim relates to. We are not liable for damage caused by your dog to third parties when you have failed to disclose a known behavioural risk.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

11. Termination by us

We may terminate your account or refuse to take a booking if you breach these terms, if your dog poses a risk we can't safely manage, or if your behaviour towards our team is abusive. We will refund any unused, paid bookings.

12. Termination by you

You can close your account any time by emailing hello@furryadventures.co.uk. Pending walks will be cancelled per the cancellation policy in section 5.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we change them materially, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. The version number at the top tells you when these terms last changed.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
