~ a family-run Brighton business ~
ABOUT US
Furry Adventures is run by Amy, Kelly and their brother Jack. Three siblings born and raised in Brighton. There hasn't been a day of our lives without at least one dog in the house, so when we say we know dogs, we mean it.
Amy has spent her whole life surrounded by animals, ranging from horses to rabbits and everything in between. She's just finished studying Equestrian Management at Plumpton College, where two years of large-animal handling, behaviour and welfare have given her experience and knowledge in working with nervous dogs too.
Jack has lived with big high-energy breeds his whole life. The kind of dog that needs three hours of mountain before they'll settle. He knows what a properly tired-out dog looks like, and how to read the difference between a dog that's done and a dog that's only pretending. He's the one you want on the long off-lead walks up on the Downs.
Kelly runs the operations side and looks after the customer relationships alongside her share of the rota. Between the three of us, every walk is one of Amy, Kelly or Jack. Never a stranger.
Looking after other people's dogs is something we've done for years. It started with friends and neighbours asking for the odd favour, and slowly turned into a regular thing. Once we realised we were already running a small dog-walking operation in everything but name, it felt right to do the work properly: insured, scheduled, professional from the first phone call. Furry Adventures is the version of that.
The way we care for the dogs hasn't changed. What's new is the structure around it: full insurance, DBS checks, a real schedule, and an app that puts every walk on your phone. Live tracking, photos through the day, and a recap by the time we've dropped off.

Six dogs (and a few others)
Between us we share six dogs across our households. They've taught us everything we know about pack dynamics, recall, the never-ending fox poo battle, and how to read a dog's mood from across a field. Yours is in good company.

And the dogs aren't the half of it. We also share our days with Magic and Twinkle (the horses, Amy and Jack's department), Mitsy and Thumper (the rabbits), and Frank the tortoise, who has strong opinions about salad. Plenty of practice with all sorts of animals, basically.
No hand-offs
When you book us, you book us. No rota of strangers, no "your usual walker is on holiday so we sent someone else." One of the three of us, every walk. You'll know which one's coming.
We know the ground
From Worthing seafront to Stanmer Park to the South Downs Way above Hassocks. We know which gates lock at sunset, which fields are sheep-fields in summer, which paths turn to soup after rain, and which spots are quiet enough to let a nervous dog off-lead.
You see the walk
Every walk is GPS-tracked from collection to drop-off. Photos through the day. A recap to your phone within seconds of getting home. No "trust me" here. You'll have the receipts.
Quality over quantity
We only take on dogs we can give a proper walk to. That means keeping our pack sizes small, our schedule sensible, and the attention real. If we're full when you ask, we'll tell you straight.
